Mayssoun Bydon
Founder and Managing Partner
Mayssoun Bydon is the Founder and Managing Partner of IHL. Ms. Bydon has almost twenty years of experience tutoring and providing admissions consulting services to high school, college and graduate school students. She is an expert in both the undergraduate and graduate admissions processes and is widely regarded as the foremost LSAT expert in the nation.
While in law school, Ms. Bydon developed a pioneering approach to LSAT preparation and designed a comprehensive LSAT tutoring curriculum. She proceeded to found IHL in 1996, and has since led the firm as it has grown into a nationally-recognized boutique educational consulting firm with two offices and over forty employees.
Ms. Bydon is a graduate of the University of Michigan’s Honors Program with an A.B. in Comparative Literature and a minor in French. She graduated with highest distinction in 1996. Following her undergraduate studies, Ms. Bydon attended the University of Michigan Law School on a Darrow Scholarship, the most prestigious merit-based scholarship offered to incoming Michigan Law students. She graduated with a J.D. in 1999, and worked in corporate law after graduation at elite firms in Chicago and Detroit.
In 2001, she decided to leave her practice and focus full-time on IHL and her true passion of teaching and mentoring students, and the rest is history….
Chad Biggert
Executive Director
Chad Biggert is the Executive Director of IHL. Mr. Biggert has almost 15 years of experience advising students on standardized test preparation and college / graduate school admissions. He joined the firm in 2001 and oversees all day-to-day firm operations in addition to directing and coordinating all of IHL’s test preparation programs. Mr. Biggert is responsible for helping students and families interface with IHL staff and works with students to design custom tutoring programs, pairing each student with the right tutor(s) and monitoring progress along the way.
Mr. Biggert is a 1995 graduate of the University of Michigan. As a member of the University of Michigan’s Division I Wrestling Team, Mr. Biggert earned the title of Big Ten Champion and was named an All-American.
